she was the author, and he was the ball-point pen, other times the sharpened #2 pencil of her life-story
his contagious smile- splashing droplets of vain on the blank paper; and often her serendipity would wrap around every little letter in stardust:
and he's taken to sprinkling golden glitter across the leather-bound notebook pages;
leaving her hand cramping from jotting down the instructions for how to just believe
for he believed in magic,miracles, and everything that followed in between we belong together and i believe in us.
she'd long forgotten on how to enter the realms of the impossible;
turning her back on any trace of extraordinary enchantments of the magical world
but when their lips met;
moisturizing raindrops & blazing ember-stones collide in an aurora of rainbow colors.
his starry-eyed whispers of hope, faith and love;
guide her to construct those measly one word answers into vivid structures of imagination
the twinkle in his eyes causing that extra stroke of her feathered pen;
instantaneously scribbling along the faded canvas of fairy dust and swaying palm trees
she's beginning to believe, because he believes, and when their touch brushes: the stars align in a phosphorescent lamp of stars among the night skies
and as they swayed freely beneath the moonlight:
she murmurs, 'writing is my backbone, and my passion. but maybe, i'd give up everything for you.'
he ponders while tracing his fingers over each cursive letter;
silently brushing his lips across her earlobe, 'it's our sprinkle of fate.'
she use to be a writer, but he's still her inspiration. and she still believes in everything because it's him, dreadlocks in cotton tendrils of hair, and skin of baby oil. the definition of perfect, but so much more than that.
he completes her, and she completes him. each the missing piece of their jigsaw puzzle. and as their lips brush, the words dance along the tips of his tongue, 'you are the other half of my heart'
